Five years ago I had one of the best days of my life.
Because this tiny person came into my life.
And I became a whole other person.
And there was Great Rejoicing.
Happy Birthday Baby Boy.

The food is okay, better than average. But the drinks are booze-tacular. You can't really see but the Tiki bowls arrive on fire. SWEET!
And then both the Husband and I have been engrossed in preparing for the opening of the make believe mall known as Vicious Studios in Second Life. I think we are ready.
Check me out, I'm skinny and I dress like Lilu there. It RULES to be me!
Tomorrow we have a very special life event that I will blog about all on it's own.
You'll just have to wait for it.
And - shout out to Leslie. Happy Birthday Bunkie. This was the craziest picture of you I could find! LOVE YA!

It was great to take my kids to a place that made me so happy when I was little. We had lots of ice cream together there. Mom loves ice cream a lot. I fed her some on Saturday. She can hold the spoon if you scoop it out for her. That's about it, as her right side is paralyzed now. I think she liked it. Who would know? She can't speak any more.
If the rumors are true, I have 14 brothers and sisters. But some are steps and there are some that my dad had with a lady way after mom. Never even met those. My mother actually only has six kids. We came from all over the country to see her. How about a shout out to Terry, Darryl (not pictured), Virginia, Theresa (sorry about spelling, you guys) and let's not forget Mom. Side note to David: Fuck you for not coming to see her. You live nearby, you prick.
She may come all the way back, she's only 69. Maybe not. My birthday is November 6th. Having my old mom back would be the best present ever. I miss my Mommy.
I'll leave the fun part of the trip for Bidgy to tell you. But I don't want to sit here and cry any more so I'll share my big fun with you. For the first time in 13 years, I got to eat at Jack in the Box! I missed you old friend.
And, as you fans of JITB know, the mystery meat-paste tacos are the Holy Grail of any JITB visit. This one was for you, Vic: Yum!!!!
Thanks for listening to my rants y'all. (We do live in Georgia now, so I can say that).

And in our family, midway celebrations consist of eating deep fried foods (on sticks preferably). Here The Husband enjoys Deep Fried Banana Cream Pie and I have the traditional Snickers on a Stick. Deep Fried of Course. I am hoping for something more original at the Georgia State Fair. Have they run OUT of sweet confections to deep fry?

We will be driving across the country so my husband can say goodbye to his mother. She has had a stroke and is not doing well.
She was always kind to me, and never had anything but good wishes for my family.
I tried to explain it to the oldest boy but I'm not sure how much a 4 year old (even one who is 47 inches tall) understands. He said to me, as I put him into bed last night, "Mommy, it isn't good that Grandma Anne is going to die."
It isn't good at all.

Because, you don't call.
It's a little perplexing to me sometimes.
I know that the way the world works now, it's hard to even make time to spend time chatting up friends. But I try. And my efforts are lame. I send pictures to you with notes of what the family is up to. I call you and I leave voice mail messages - something to let you know I'm thinking about you and hope all is well.
And I wait. But you don't call back.
I have always been someone who knew lots of people. I have always been someone who had lots of friends plus lots of acquaintances and they were people of various sorts. Different socio-economically, different politically.........different sort of people that I enjoyed for different reasons.
But I've recently realized something.
Since I moved to the ATL.......I'm the one doing all the work.
It's probably true, that in all relationships there is one person who keeps it going - one person who communicates consistently and drives the bus of the friendship to keep the bonds intact.
I'm not directing this at any one person. But for about 90% of you, who exist in the land of being my friends.........it's true.
My point is this.
You can call me. You can write me. I'll be glad to communicate with you. Because I really miss you.
But I'm done being the glue of this relationship. Someone else can do it for the next 38 years. I'm worn out.

Take in a local museum.
Here we are at the Atlanta Children's Museum checking out the sand table. They also had a water activity table that Baby Birth of Cool thought it would be GREAT to climb into.
He managed to dunk one foot all the way in before parental intervention.
Then we went off to the WORLD OF COKE.
And after we consumed gallons of Coke products from across the earth (Lil Satchmo declared that maybe he better not HAVE any Coke for a few days, THAT is how much Coke they let you taste) we wandered through Centennial Park and then wound up at the Hard Rock for a much deserved Rock and Roll Dinner.
All 4 and 3 year olds LOVE to eat dinner while Listening to Godsmack.
And I'm not sure if you are aware, but the USPS are members of the Jedi Guild.

In fact I thought this ad was a little funny until I thought about it a little more. I think this is the onset of middle age.

I would like to add an addendum.
You may not ADD said airline to your country, until you stop sacrificing animals to appease the airline gods. 'Cause you aren't READY.

Beware, apparently the greater Atlanta area is growing nuclear sized moths.

Next at Publix the other day Lil Satchmo say "Oh Look SUSHI! Let's get some SUSHI!" This is a little amusing because at our house, we're convinced that the only thing we did differently in order to get pregnant BOTH times was eat sushi.
The twins were less than enthusiastic. But they did try a few bites.
And lastly, here is the problem with having twin little brothers. They'll gang up on you and jack your yogurt while you are trying to eat breakfast.

Anyone have any helpful tips on MOVING the whole thing, if I decide to go that way?
(oh and I realize you won't be able to leave me a comment so if you have ideas or comments pertaining you can shoot me an email at email@example.com).
I'm also going to strip out all of affiliate ads except blogher ads because they are just cluttering up my mess I think. Also accepting thoughts on that.
Next, I welcome another member of my family into the blogosphere. First my sister- in-law started blogging then I got my brother to occassionally contribute over on THE WEIGHTING and now he's got his very own blog. Go Give him some love.
Last of all........and this might be the big one.
For those of you who are fans or those of you WILL soon be fans.......DIVAVILLE is coming back. If you haven't checked it out I highly recommend it.
